Birthday Club

Yay, I got my birthday present from the Birthday Club in The Button Box =) I am so glad that I receive my first "official" birthday present!



I have got 2 lovely fabrics, beads, handmade cards and a general card, and also some sequins flower embelishment. Love everything in it, especially the fabric and the handmade card!

Sam's Aladdin Cave Treasure (SENT)

Lots of stuff for a beader... going to turn her into a beading monster!

She said I was overly generous...

Beadie graciously sent me ... charms, spacers, chandelier frame, mobile straps, beads, glass heart pendant (same as one i have in my car, btw, but mine is blue), ring loops, silver tigertail, elastic string, leather cord, and card stock!!!! Thanks so much.. you spoiled me!!

Crafty Canada Swap #1

This is another forum that I joined, and we had our first swap in CraftyCanada. Though there is only 3 of us joining.

Stuff I got from Sam:-

A nice handmade cards, some lovely charms and hoops, she wanted me to make some wine charm =)

Stuff I sent to Sam:-

I got her a pair of lovely cherry earrings, some "beader necessities", some headpins, eyepins, jumprings, and earhooks. These will last her quite some time =)

Stuff that I sent to PHH is "disappear", it haven't reach her, I have no idea why!! And the one she sent me is RETURNED to her!! Silly postie! She had resend her part to me, and I am waiting patiently, and I have tried to send her another "letter" to test if the postal system is "working".

Slim Tall Cards

Went to a bookstore and found some lovely cardstock and gold tone paper. Have to make cards with them! I have made 2 cards today, they are slim and tall type, with the theme "friendship".

Beading Swap #2 - Chandelier Earrings

I have posted this in "My Journey of Jewellery Making" but I thought I will post here too, as this is part of my activities in Craft Section. =)



This is the earrings I received from Ted. She did very good for her first try in making chandelier earrings. And I love the chandelier frame that she gets me. Will make something pretty with it one day.

Aladdin's Cave Round Robin - Treasure

I was so excited to receive my "Aladdin's Treasure" it has so much goodies for me.


I have some fabrics, colourful papers, cute acrylics butterflies and teddies, a punch (yay!), a beaded dragonfly, pens, fragrant sachet and also an embosed card.

Love everything in it. Thanks Ted!

I will have to refill and forward the treasure to Sam soon!

Recycle Swap from Robyn

This is some lovely cards and tag from Robyn. She recycles some old Christmas card and puppy calendar. Very pretty and looks professional!

I quill the flowers and leaves, glued on a white card, added the peach card and the gold lace. I love this card very much. What do you think?
